Be like water

Our story begins like a little drop before all the rain starts. We met in 2019 when Maria had a short trip to Kenya, it was a drop because Maria doesn't remember Boni and Boni got to see Maria only once in that trip without actually having a conversation. 

The story changes into a little line of water as Maria comes to Kenya for the second time. Maria and Boni go on a short tour of Kibera. For sure this was the start of the future. With Maria's eye for new things to see and Bonis' laughter it was an easy going afternoon and we can say the rest is history but not yet.

Maria returned to Switzerland and decided that the little line of water is not enough for her, she wanted to be a river so she decided to move to Kenya by April 2020. The two maintained contact through whatsapp and irregular calls. Boni's Kenyan accent sounded so sweet and Maria’s poor English sounded so exotic– irregular phone calls became regular video calls and language barriers were overcome. Covid happened and Maria's little river turned to vapor her. Her moving date moved from April to September 2020.

Finally the day of arrival in Nairobi in September 2020 comes. Everyone is excited, that little river has come back to life. Nobody can stop it. The little drop  became a mighty river and for almost 2 years we lived together in Kenya, traveling from one end to the other, creating amazing evenings, meeting new friends and bringing the families close.

In Spring 2022 it was time for a new adventure. The river needed to channel itself somewhere so we decided– moving to Switzerland.

During this move our little rivers decided to come together to become an ocean. 

We are looking forward to celebrating our love story with YOU, our families and friends! We want to spend some amazing days together in Diani next to the  Indian ocean where our little drop all began in Kenya.
